We live in a world that seems to be full of change and uncertainty. It seems that the only thing we can expect is the unexpected.
Politics seems to have been based on a basic fear and misunderstanding of one another. The aim seems to create division and a focus on our self interest rather than a care, love or respect for one another.
However, when we look a little deeper, perhaps we are not truly as different from one another as we might believe.
Although this is essentially an advert for a travel website it does challenge us to think about our identity and place in the world. It challenges us to think about how in fact we are all “one nation, one people”, created unique, special and wonderful in the “image of God”.
If we can ground ourselves in this perhaps it is possible to keep faith in humanity and the world we live in. If we want to make a difference in the world we live in it is through our small, everyday human interactions and how we live with one another.
You can make a difference, one step at a time, with God by your side.
